14th Brooklyn Enlisted Jacket
Because the 14th Brooklyn jacket is unique to the regiment and somewhat elaborate in its construction, it can be hard to source quality reproductions. A new maker has been identified, and a prototype is under development, with price to be determined.
Periodically, previously owned tunics become available on the secondary market, like Ebay.
It’s also acceptable to wear a federal sack coat, but we do prefer you wear red trousers.

Chris Sullivan makes both museum-grade and standard-grade options for the red 14th trousers.
Milk Creek Mercantile sells 14th Brooklyn trousers for $75. These are a lower-grade, cheaper option, recommended for younger members that are still growing.
Gaiters
The 14th Brooklyn had specific gaiters with seven buttons each (for a total of “14”). We are working on sourcing a batch of one-size gaiters for our unit. Meanwhile, Scott Wallick makes Army of the Potomac Gaiters, which are appropriate for post-1862 impressions.
