Throughout the year, we participate in numerous living-history encampments, parades, and battle reenactments.
Unless otherwise noted, all of the events listed below are open to the public.

CamP WOOD DRILL Day
April 13
Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Bethpage, NY
A day of Instruction and Drill, at Old Bethpage. Members of the 14th will be learning and teaching, camping and cooking. The village is open 10-4. Come say hello!
CAMP GEIGER
Weekend of April 26-28
Whitehall Parkway, Whitehall, PA
The Weekend will include military drills, firing demonstrations, and trench battles. Visit the Lyceum to learn about Civil War period music, to learn about other aspects of life during the Civil War and to hear lectures. KING’s County Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day, Monday, May 27
Bay Ridge, Brooklyn: Third Avenue Thru the 70s, Ending John Paul Jones Park
The parade route is from 78th St. and Third Ave., along Third Ave. to Marine Ave., up to Fourth Ave. and over to John Paul Jones Park on 101st St. and Fourth Ave. for the memorial service.
Old Bethpage Military Timeline
Weekend of June 15-16
Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Bethpage, NY
March through history with centuries of military impressions on display. Witness military drills, speak with uniformed re-enactors and experience firing demonstrations.
161st GettysburG (GBPA)
WEekend of July 6-7
Daniel Lady Farm, Gettysburg, PA
Sponsored by the Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association, this three day event will feature infantry, calvary, and artillery battles, as well as educational speakers, sutlers, children's activities, domestic demonstrations, and living history camps.
Summer Encampment
August 24-25
Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Bethpage, NY
A weekend of soldier drill, scenarios, and living history at Old Bethpage. Members of the 14th and friends from other units will be demonstrating firing, camping, and cooking. Open to the public!
Long Island Fair
September 13-15
Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Bethpage, NY
The biggest event of the year at Old Bethpage. Members of the 14th will be wandering the village, talking to the public, doing firing demonstrations, and looking for new recruits. Come say hello!
REMEMBRANCE DAY Weekend
November 16-17, 2021
Gettysburg National Battlefield PArk, Gettyburg, PA
Each year members of 14th Brooklyn groups from across the country march in the Remembrance Day parade, part of a weekend of activities commemorating the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address. We lay wreaths at three battlefield monuments to the 14th.
